Spring is here...

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that after we came home from church I decided I had to take advantage of this gorgeous weather and wear one of my new sundresses. The sun was shining and it was the perfect day to sit outside on our deck. Here are a few pics of my outfit. 

I can't wait for it to warm up a bit more so I can wear shorts & dresses all the time! 

I am loving this little sundress by roxy, normally $39.99 but I got it for a steal of $25.00 at the NEX and didn't have to pay tax! :o) I love finding a good bargain! I also got these adorable metallic sandals at target for $19.99 a few weeks ago. They are so cute! 

I really love when the seasons change and you get to start switching out your wardrobe. I'm definitely ready for spring/summer! What are you wearing this season?

Homecoming Outfit...HELP!

So with homecoming only a few months away, I am already thinking of what I want to wear the day my sailor is back in my arms. It's going to be winter and most likely freezing, but of course I still wanna look smokin' hot for my man! ;)

I already have an outfit in my head that I want to wear but I can't seem to find it anywhere I look! I've been scouring online sites to see if I can find anything, but so far there is nothing that really catches my eye.

I also have a hard time online shopping because of my size. I am tee tiny and most the time wear a zero in pants and an xs or small in shirts. It's extremely annoying! I wish I had a more womanly body...

Anyway, the vision I'm seeing in my head is a sweater dress with some leggings and a gorgeous pair of boots! I think that would do the trick...I'm gonna have to wear a jacket but I at least want to look good underneath. I need ideas! So far I've found ZIP, ZILCH, NADA that I like.

HELP!!! I would greatly appreciate any good links or photos of something that fits this description...I still have time but it will be here before we know it.

Fashionista Friday

With Fall right around the corner, I have been day dreaming about all the gorgeous outfits I want to wear this season. Since I am a girly girl down to the bone, I thought I'd create a glamorous and feminine outfit, (with a modern take) that embodies everything I'm adoring right now. 

I call it "Pretty in Paris" because that's where I wish I was this fall!

 First off, I can't get enough of ankle boots this season. They look great with sweater dresses and skinny jeans, or even with a vintage inspired dress and some textured tights. The possibilities are endless! ♥ And I can't believe Wet Seal has this pair for $20!

Right now I'm also loving the destroyed denim and this perfectly pink tunic sweater. 

 I love the addition of the belt to accentuate the waist and for us tiny girls it makes us look a little more full on top, (if you catch my drift).

  I've also been trying to branch out more when it comes to earrings, (most of the time I just wear my pearls) but lately I've been going for some teardrop earrings. I love the way accessories can transform any outfit and just give it that little something extra. 

One of my favorite new accessories this season would have to be statement headbands, like the one pictured above. With the right hair style this adorable headband has the power to pull the entire outfit together and give it a little extra flair. 

It reminds me of one of my fashion icons, none other than the fabulous Blair from GG. Blair is always rocking sensational headbands, and so can you!

Fall In Love

I woke up this morning and went to work like it was any other day, not realizing that TODAY was the first day of September. I have been waiting for what seems like forever for autumn to appear and I am so excited to get to experience the lovely fall weather here in Virginia again this year. ♥ Not only does the end of summer usher in the best season of all, but it also means that this deployment is half way over! I know we still have a long way to go but the cold weather means my hubby will be home before I know it.

Having been raised in southern California nearly my entire life, I never truly experienced all four seasons until this past year. It is somthething that is frightening at times, (i.e. hurricane Irene) but also quite lovely. I'll never forget the bright orange, red, and yellow hues that billowed from our neighborhood trees last year and the amazing cool breezes that made me reach for a cozy sweater and my favorite pair of boots.

The things I love the most about my favorite season would have to be the wonderful Fall Fashion, Fun, and Food. What more could anyone ask for? I can't wait to go shopping and score some stylish new sweaters and some chic little boots like these...

All Dressed Up: She got it from her mama

Today's all dressed up is a little late, but as I always say, "better late than never." ;) Today's outfit was given to me by my fabulous mama who actually has pretty good taste when it comes to picking out clothes I like. (This wasn't the case when I was a kid, but now that I'm older she seems to do a lot better. Sorry mom, it's true!) lol. Anyway I fell in love with this Candie's dress the moment I opened the box and I couldn't wait to wear it to work. I got a ton of compliments all day and I felt oh so pretty! ♥ Thanks Mom for having such good taste...I love it!!♥ Here are a few photos.

All Dressed Up: Girls Weekend

This weekend Sarah and I had a girls weekend, complete with margaritas, shopping, girl talk and yes a sleep over! It was awesome, and of course gave us an excuse to get "All Dressed Up" for Lady's blog. Here are a few photos.

All Dressed Up: Birthday Dress

So most of you know about my "dress obsession." This past weekend I reorganized my closet and counted all my dresses. I have 45 to be exact! They take up almost an entire rack in my closet, but they are all near and dear to my heart...I just feel more feminine when wearing a dress, so of course I had to find the perfect birthday dress this year. 

 I'm in love with this lacey strapless dress I discovered at Wet Seal. It was love at first sight, and once I tried it on I knew it was "the one."♥

I also found this adorable necklace to complete the look. 

I was just in love with this entire outfit...but i couldn't forget the perfect sandals. 

I felt super girly and lovely in this outfit. I really do believe what you wear can affect how you feel.♥ 

I had a great birthday and this dress helped make my special day complete. ♥
